OPEN CALL FOR PITCHES AND QUESTIONS

We are making a follow-up issue of Being Trans in Philosophy and (jumpscare) NOW INVITE pitches and questions for Being Trans on the Job Market.

We are open to both questions for more experienced trans/feminist philosophers and pitches of up to 200 words for:

 – Reflections on job market experiences (what's working, what's messed up, and everything in between);
 – Opinion pieces on what trans philosophers, the field, and our allies should be doing in this moment to make philosophy habitable for trans philosophers;
 – Analyses of the job market and trans labor in academia;
 – Cartoons, memes, drawings, and other visual arts on the theme;
 – Poetry, fiction, humor, and more creative work engaging with the theme;
 – Tips and resources for trans philosophers navigating the job market;
 – Announcements of projects, initiatives, and so on;
 – News on what's happened that our community needs to know about;
 – Interviews/conversations relevant to the theme; and
 – Surprise us!

For pitches, our aim is to include everything that's on theme but we are limited by space and mission. As editors, we understand our job to be curating not refereeing.
